Nothing is uploaded — your resume is built entirely in your browser. Use "Save as PDF" in the print dialog to download it.

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter your name, job title, and contact details — these form the header of the resume.
  2. Write a two-to-three-sentence professional summary that names your field, years of experience, and strongest skill.
  3. Add each job with its dates and one achievement per line; tick 'I currently work here' for your present role.
  4. Add your education and a comma-separated skills list.
  5. Choose Classic, Modern, or Minimal, check the live preview, then click Print / Save as PDF.

The formula

Dates are entered as month + year and displayed as 'Mar 2021 – Present' style ranges. Fully empty entries are filtered out of the preview automatically; skills are split on commas, trimmed, and de-duplicated.

Worked example

A support specialist enters a current job that started in March 2021: the preview shows the role with the date range 'Mar 2021 – Present', her four achievement lines as bullets, and her earlier job (Jun 2019 – Feb 2021) below it — exactly the model the builder's tests verify.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my personal information uploaded or stored?

No. The builder runs entirely in your browser — there is no account, no upload, and no server copy of your resume. When you close the tab, the information is gone, which is why you should print or save your PDF before leaving the page.

How do I download my resume as a PDF?

Click Print / Save as PDF, and in the print dialog choose 'Save as PDF' as the destination. The print layout hides the form and the rest of the page, so the PDF contains only the clean resume sheet. Set margins to default and disable headers/footers in the dialog for the tidiest result.

Which template should I choose?

Classic (serif type, centered header) suits law, finance, healthcare, and other traditional fields. Modern (clean sans-serif with a gold accent) fits tech, marketing, and startups. Minimal (light and airy, no rules or boxes) works anywhere you want the content to speak for itself, and is the safest choice for applicant tracking systems because it uses plain text structure.

What should I put in the achievements boxes?

One accomplishment per line, starting with a strong verb and including a number whenever you can: 'Resolved 60+ customer contacts a day' beats 'Responsible for customer support.' Numbers, percentages, team sizes, and money figures make your impact concrete and are what hiring managers scan for.

Can I leave sections blank?

Yes. Empty jobs, schools, and fields simply disappear from the preview and the printed resume — a fully empty entry is dropped automatically. If you have no work experience yet, leave Experience empty and lead with your summary, education, and skills instead.

Should I include a photo or my full address?

For US employers, no photo — it can trigger bias concerns and confuses applicant tracking systems. A city and state (e.g. Austin, TX) is plenty for location; your full street address should never go on a resume you send out widely.
